“YOUR great country I love so much for its noble freedom,” wrote the principal founder of modern Theosophy Mme. H. P. Blavatsky in addressing The Theosophical Society Second Annual Convention in 1888.
“A large part of my heart and much of my hope for Theosophy lie with you in the United States, where the Theosophical Society was founded, and of which country I myself am proud of being a citizen.”
“You must remember that,” she added, “although there must be local Branches of the Theosophical Society there can be no local Theosophists; and just as you all belong to the Society, so do I belong to you all.” (H. P. Blavatsky Letter I — Second Annual Convention)
But not so fast. What would Mme. Blavatsky have said about this country if she lived today? Today at every level government interference in our individual freedoms has become epidemic. Does the government have the right, for example, to force it’s citizens to choose between educating their children and vaccinating them?
Mme. Blavatsky’s Adept Teachers made clear Their views on “evil” (Letter 10). The ills of humanity fall into two main categories, they said. And the effects of such evils plays out every day in our individual and collective lives.
“Evil is the exaggeration of good, the progeny of human selfishness and greediness [are] nearly two thirds of the evils that pursue humanity ever since that cause became a power.”
In The Secret Doctrine Mme. Blavatsky declares: “Practical Theosophy is not one Science, but embraces every science in life, moral and physical.” (Summing Up section of The Secret Doctrine 1:269): but ….. “it is clear that modern science believes not in the ‘soul of things.”
Smoke = Fire
“Pharmaceutical giant Glaxo Smith Kline plead guilty and agreed to pay a $3 billion fine for illegal marketing and withholding information about health hazards associated with several of its drugs, including Avandia and Paxil. This was the largest fine ever paid by a drug company.
“Since the first National Vaccine Injury Compensation (VICP) claims were filed in 1989, 3,981 compensation awards have been made. More than $2.8 billion in compensation awards has been paid to petitioners.”
“Between 2012 and mid-2014, Monsanto and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) successfully blocked GMO labeling laws in over 30 states, at a price tag of more than $100 million.”
California’s New Legislation Could Force Parents to Choose between Vaccines and Public School.
Senate Bill 277 proposes to do just that. In talks now, the bill would require all public school students to be vaccinated, giving exemptions only for medical purposes. Which means if you make the choice for your family not to vaccinate, you could be forced into removing your children from school.
Your child’s chance to get their constitutionally guaranteed education could be taken away. This is no longer just a vaccine issue, this is an issue of government taking choices away from parents. And the government deciding what is right for your children.
These kind of actions are the result, evidently, of actions by scientists who have lost their spiritual discernment. “It is very difficult for a materialist, the metaphysical portion of whose brain is almost atrophied,” Blavatsky explains in a Studies in Occultism dialogue, “to raise himself— or for one who is naturally spiritually-minded, to descend to the level of the matter-of-fact vulgar thought.”
“If the legislation passes, it will likely cause a ripple effect, spreading to other states. Soon, it could become a country-wide issue.”
“The politicians behind the bill argue that the “Disneyland Outbreak” which resulted in 130 people contracting measles, signals a change in the herd immunity and that their right to “protect” public safety trumps your child’s constitutional right to an education.
“Even though only 14% of individuals who contracted the disease were unvaccinated, the media seems to be blaming the entire outbreak on the unvaccinated, and using it as political fodder to scare politicians into taking striping your constitutional rights.
Does the government have the right to strip you of your constitutional right to education over an issue of choice?
“This has become more than an vaccination issue. This has become a parent’s rights issue. Where do we draw the line? When do we take a stand and say, our liberties matter? Our freedom of choice matters?”
“If we allow the government to impose this restriction,
where does it end?”
Virginia commission recommends not changing state’s immunization exclusion guidelines.
A crowd of red-wearing protesters attending Wednesday’s meeting of the General Assembly’s Joint Commission on Health Care to oppose any changes to the state’s regulations on otherwise mandatory immunization exemptions, particularly the suggestion of removing religious reasons as a valid reason not to immunize a child.
